[iPhone 8] Random shutdowns - dead battery?

Hi all,

My iPhone 8 (iOS 15.1) is experiencing random shutdowns, regardless of the battery level- I've had 20%, 30%, even 70%.

I have included the battery level chart here.

After a shutdown at any battery level, my iPhone will start charging at 0%.

I have done all the recommended steps to fix a monitoring issue: force restart, update to 15.1, and factory reset to no avail. My question is, is it likely to be the battery at this point, should I go ahead and replace it, or is it possibly a firmware/monitoring issue that couldn't be fixed by what I've previously done?

UPDATE - It ended up not charging at all, so I decided to replace the battery. Turns out, when I was about to do so I noticed the battery was swollen, so that's settled. Works like a charm with a new battery :)
