Magic Mouse in space grey

My Magic Mouse for the iMac pro has stopped working. There is no red light.


Can it be repaired or can I buy a new one in space grey?

The Magic Mouse 2, supplied with the iMac Pro does not have a red light, the tracking sensor uses a beam that is invisible to human vision.


Make sure that the Magic Mouse 2 is fully charged and that the power switch on the bottom of the Magic Mouse 2, beside the tracking sensor opening is in the "on" position and showing the "green" marking. Sometimes users accidentally knock the power switch into the "off" position which shows a "black" marking, or an "in-between" position which is neither on or off.


With the power switch in the "green" position make a left or right "click" press on the top surface of the Magic Mouse and wait for a few seconds for the Bluetooth link to re-establish, after which the Magic Mouse should work again normally.


If the mouse is not tracking, check for a build up of dust and fluff in the opening for the tracking sensor and remove any blockage with a soft brush or air-blower.


If the Magic Mouse still does not connect with the iMac carry out a NVRAM and SMC reset of the iMac Pro and also ensure that no other Bluetooth devices are very close by to the iMac or the Magic Mouse when first powering up the iMac after carrying out the NVRAM and SMC reset.


Magic mice cannot be repaired, only replacement is possible and both white and Space Grey are available from the Apple Store.
