Hi Jorose59,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with the volume on your iPhone when using FaceTime. We'd like to help.

Does this issue happen when you are using headphones, or just when using the iPhone's speaker? Does it happen with all contacts or just one? Are you typically on Wi-Fi or cellular when using FaceTime? Do you notice a difference depending on which network you're connected to?

Which iOS are you currently running? Check Settings > General > About to make sure. If you're able to, an update to your iOS can help: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Hope that helps.

Take care.

Jorose59,

Got it.

Have you tried to remove and add this contact back to your iPhone to see if that helps? Does it happen when you call the other person, when they call you, or both ways?

If it still continues after removing and adding that contact, see if adjusting these sound settings help:

Change FaceTime audio settings on iPhone

If you continue to have issues after that, Contact Apple Support will be the best next step for you.

Cheers!
