DVD won't insert into Big Sur Hi. I own a Macbook MacOS Big Sur 11.7.2. I'm having issues where the DVD won't fit into the dvd player. It doesn't suck in when I put it in however I can still take out. Does anyone know why this is happening? Yes, I've made sure the DVD had no scratches and it wasn't dirty and I put it into another computer to check it was fine. Any ideas?

DVD RW ejected without opening on MBP Hi! I have a multiple problem, but lets start with one question... I have a DVD RW 4.7GB (I want to use as a bootable disc for an eMac). But to start with, when I put it in my MBP Mid 2012, OSX 10.13 it is ejected after spinning a bit. Other CD do open fine... I tried inserting this DVD RW in a Windows PC and it DOES OPEN! I can format it, put files on it etc..... Any suggestions please...? Thanks in advance for all your time!

DVD stuck I have a disc stuck in my external drive. I have a new iMac and when I placed the DVD in the player it sounded like it was going to start, but the icon never showed on my desktop and now I can't eject the DVD. I have tried the eject button and command E, but nothing seems to work. How can I get the DVD out of my drive?

If the Apple article that Niel posted does not get the Disc out?

There are other more drastic methods and measures that may help.
