What is your model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

- Apple TV (3rd generation or earlier): Get an Apple Remote (aluminum).

- Apple TV (4th generation or later): Get a Siri Remote.

When you get the replacement remote, you will have to pair or link it to the box.
