Since I have updated to macOS Monterey my computer no longer accepts or identify my printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a. Prior to the update the printer was listed as an identified printer and I could scan and print. How can I get it connected.

How do I get my computer to accept my printer since I have updated my iMac to macOS Monterey?

Please do the following in this order:

 

·Uninstall all HP software, put in the Trash and empty the Trash.

·Please reset the printing system per Reset the Mac printing system to solve a problem

·Next, follow the instructions in Adding a printer
