Iphone 13 pro connection issue with uconnect in the car

I recently had to replace my phone. I had an iphone 7 and it always connected to my car. I purchased a new Iphone 13 pro and paired it with my 2021 Jeep Cherokee. When I turn the car back on, I see the phone but cant call any of my numbers. It doesn't sync with my contact list. I would have to use the phone to dial a number, and it doesn't recognize the numbers. It looks like Iphone 13 no longer works with cars. Really bummed that i bought this phone because I used this in the car a lot.
