Restoring default path after installing Homebrew

I installed Homebrew on M1 wmac big sur. It completely changed by path so that I

no longer can execute programs that were in my original path. How can I restore

my default path so that I can execute my programs?

MacBook Pro, OS X 10.11

$PATHS When did Apple add /usr/local/bin/ to private/etc/paths? Years ago I added /usr/local/bin myself to .bash_profile. I noticed recently that I had a duplicate in my PATH and it's /usr/local/bin. I am guessing Apple made this change recently? I removed it— but curious: When did this take effect? What are the default contents and order of /private/etc/paths on a fresh macOS system? Thanks!

Cricut not downloading on Macbook Trying to download Cricut and it’s saying “Invalid Launch Path, Please move cricut design space to your application folder”. Any thoughts. I tried what other suggested but It’s not working.

I suggest that you contact Homebrew support/user forum to see how installing their product on your Mac changed the path and its remedy.
