Text Notification Sound Driving Me Crazy .. It won't decrease no matter what

So, I have just bought my Iphone 13 for a s...load of money expecting everything to be smooth and perfect. The idea is that my ringer is on the lowest, when my phone rings (works just fine ), it is relatively low which is perfect but my problem is the volume of my notifications. If I get a text or WhatsApp notification you can hear it all the way on the other side of the house. (it does not obey to ringer and alerts volume from settings) It is way way too loud. I have check all the settings and there is no way of reducing it. I don't want to have to put my phone on silence or vibration but the notification sound is quite annoying. My previous iPhone 7 from 2 years ago wasn't this loud. It seems that this is a common issue in communities, however apple is refusing to do something about it. The interesting part is for example, if you go to WhatsApp and access the notification settings of the app, and go to tone (Note tone in my case ) it will sound just like you want, with low volume. But then if you go to settings - sounds - Text Tone it will be higher, and in reality the app notification tone will be higher as well. I can't find a helpful answer anywhere. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! PS: If anyone interested in a new iPhone 13 let me know. Really starting to regret switching back from Android to IOS.
