The links to download the MacOS install files from the App store are no longer working?

Hi,

The links to download the MacOS install files from the App store are no longer working? Or is it something weird for me? Link this link, does not bring up the app store on my mac. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/macos-big-sur/id1526878132?mt

Is there a trick to getting the downloads to start or an alternative source/link. I am trying to reinstall an OS and cannot get the files. Making life harder than necessary.

Thanks, obviously something is up. So annoying, no fixing the machine today. Why does apple have such a lame why of accessing their MacOS. You cannot even search for them in the very app that gives you the app. Super backwards, and lame.

Thanks! Just lost an hour of my time searching for this problem, only to find via your post that it's an apple server problem.

I should've found your post earlier, but still glad I did find it now.

I can stop my search for now and be patient for the rest of the evening ;-)

Hope they fix the problem soon.

Is there some status-page of which you can see there are problems?

Don't know of some status page, and seems like it is more than just some sort of server outage. That would be hours/day. This is now drifting into days. Totally ridiculous, unacceptable.
