Cisco AnyConnect Errors: The VPN client agent was unable to create the interprocess communication depot.

"I recently installed the latest version of Cisco AnyConnect (4.9.01090) and now I get error dialog boxes from the Finder that say "The VPN client agent was unable to create the interprocess communication depot. and an "Ok" button. If I click the button, the alert is dismissed, but another pop-up in a few mins.

The only notes I've found on this error are all Windows Internet Connection Sharing issues. I've looked to see if I have anything similar turned on on my Mac and I do not."

This is the same copy text posted by ray-n-tosca. I share the same exact issue and couldn't explain it any better.

And it's been over 2 years and no resolution has been found. What can we do as a community to help resolve this annoying error? I've stopped using my Mac mini for months now and switched to a windows.. I miss my Mac!

PS. I'm using macOS Catalina and AnyConnects just suddenly stopped working after a new Apple Security Update. It would make sense that the issue is related to the Security Update, but what can we do with this note? Do we know what does the latest Security Update include?

Anyone in this Support Community would like to join this brainstorming?!
