27" iMac ATI HD 5750 Starcraft 2

just wondering if any new imac owners also have starcraft 2 and can tell me if you can pull off ultra graphics settings at full resolution without any problems. i am looking at getting the i7, but if you have the i5 feel free to chime in too. thanks.

Got the i5 - can't run everything in SC 2 in Ultra - Shaders have to drop down and then it seems to run around 35-40fps in native res. I'm returning my i5 tomorrow though due to the hard drive noise - so may change it for an i7 if they stock it.

Ran SC2 at all options Ultra settings and full resolution. 2560 x 1440. 27 inch


never try extreme yet.


runs fine. 2 v2 3 v3 4 v4. all ok.


but the in game recommendations for SC2 graphics settings remommended something much lower.


can we ignore that?


i did. will it destroy my imac?


i dun noe. blizzard still trying to answer my question on battlenet. forum.
