10.7.2 - UI often laggy/non-responsive even when nothing is playing & crashing OFTEN

Here are a few of the things with 10.7.2 that have been happening that were not problems in 10.7.1. If anyone has any potential workarounds or solutions to these, please respond!

• Creating new track while playback is occurring (Not Responding -> Force Quit)

• Opening UI intensive plugins while playback is occurring (Not Responding -> Force Quit)

• Normal view left side faders, pan knobs not responsive (even with no playback)

(feels like it's rate limited)

• Zooming in on automation while selecting region causes window to snap to left side of region

• Opening non-UI intensive plugins while playback is occurring (and sometimes not) (Program Freeze for ~30 seconds)

There are definitely more than those above, but these are the ones I experience the most. 10.7.2 has put a major dent in my work speed. Any suggestions appreciated.

Specs: 2020MBP Intel i9/16GB RAM/5500M 4GB/1TB HD - Big Sur 11.5.2

Externals: Komplete Audio 2, Native Instruments A49, Mouse, Keyboard
