Anyone here thinks Apple Music UI is terrible?
I switched to Apple Music from Spotify 3 months back. Since then I have been using it extensively, I love the Dolby Atmos and Lossless audio formats. They are one of the main reasons I have made the switch. I'm also very impressed with amount of artists and music content they have.
If there is anything I dont like about Apple music, that would be their UI. Its horrible. Its hard to just get yourself started on something you want using their navigation. I don't understand the point of their "Browse" section. It's like they are trying to force down my throat something they recently created (E.g. Those Apple Awards, Artist Focuses). I mean we are in 2021, everything is customized to user's usage pattern in an app. How hard it is for Apple to invest in a good Machine Learning and Web Development teams and start generating better insights with customized navigation for their users? I feel like I'm back again to iTune days, I'm carefully selecting songs and adding them to my library; diligently liking and disliking songs. Hoping that their suggestion algorithm will get better. Also, forgot their "New Music Mix" supposed to be Spotify's "Discover Weekly" is equally terrible.
Apple needs to start seriously thinking about this or else they might loose all their recently converted customers for their Hi-Fi audio back to other platforms.
