Overlapping emails in list so you can’t read what they are

Hello random emails in the middle of the list as seen on the screen are overlapped so you can’t read either one. If you tap on the overlap one email shows clearly, the other disappears.

This happens with whatever emails happen to be approximately in the middle of the list on screen—it is not dependent on a particular email. This doesn’t happen with another email app I have on the same IPad (Edison). Please explain—and is there a fix?

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today with overlapping emails on your iPad.

Do you have any updates available: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch?

Have you restarted since you noticed this issue? Try closing the mail app before restarting: Quit and reopen an app on iPad.

You can also try deleting the Mail app and redownloading it in the App Store: Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Hello I have already tried all the suggestions except deleting the app and re-downloading it. I will do that. I do not have this problem with Apple Mail on any other device, or with another Mail app on the iPad Pro, so it is definitely a problem with Mail there. I hope a re-download fixes it.
