Save mp4 to iPhoto

I have a series of mp4 files that have been shared with me on WhatsApp. I want to save them to iPhoto but can't see how to do this. Any ideas? Thanks

Photos doesn't import mp4 files from my Mac I have created an iMovie video and stored it on my Mac as an mp4 since I can't actually share it to Photos directly from iMovie! That alone is pretty bad since both applications are the same computer and are not at all able to work together! To make matters worse, Photos just will not import the mp4 into a shared album so I can have it on my iPhone!!!!???? How is it that all these Apple products are so incapable of working together? Thinking it's time to rethink Samsung now 🫤

We transfer MP4 files saved to my iPad air I have had an MP4 file sent to me via we-transfer which I have downloaded and viewed through the safari browser. It is time limited and expires in a few days. I wish to save the mp4 file to my iPad but can’t find any way to do this. Can any one help before the link expires?

import videos from downloads folder to PHOTOS I have a large number (dozens) of videos in my downloads folder that I would like to import to PHOTOS and delete from downloads. What is the best way to do this?

Put them on the desktop and use File->import.
