OS update mac pro mid 2014

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), and in order to download some new soft for processing high-resolution pics (I also do some video editing etc.) I have to update my OS (now it's High Sierra 10.13.6). Which OS would you recommend?

I've been sitting on a notice to upgrade to Catalina fro months/years and have decided to bite the bullet. Before doing so I noticed that Catalina is not the latest OS so now I am wondering what to do in terms of upgrading the OS. Latest OS for Mac Pro (Late 2013)? Current Adobe Photoshop update alert calls for OS 13.4.0. I believe this OS is not compatible with Mac Pro (Late 2013). I am already have odd redraw issues using Photoshop (my primary work app). Currently using OS 12.6.7 for which I see there is an update to OS 12.6.9 What is the latest OS that I can safely run on this computer? I have had issues in the past with hardware becoming incompatible with OS Updates. I'm also not convinced that the current Mac hardware options aren't at the end of their series cycle.

Updating macOS to a newer version My macOs High Sierra is 10.13.6 How do I upgrade to 10.14 or newer? I am trying to update Mimeo Photos but the update needs 10.14.
