Past purchases

If I set up family sharing do past purchases and iTunes Match music show up for all members no matter who purchased them?

Hi,

As long as each member of the FS has purchase sharing enabled, all previously purchased eligible content will be available to each family member.

As for iTunes Match content, this cannot be shared with FS. The content will only be available on all devices signed in with the same Apple ID and using iCML/Sync Library.

In other words, only the user that purchases the iTunes Match subscription will have access to the content associated to it.

Hope this helps!

See these documents:

How to download apps and content that your family members purchased - http://support.apple.com/HT201085

How to share purchases with your family - https://support.apple.com/HT201079

- "When you turn on purchase sharing, everyone in your family gets access to apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books that family members buy. The family organizer is billed for family members' purchases" (but read the document for the link to "learn how purchases are billed if a family member has Apple ID balance").
