Hi there Chaszy,

Being able to access all options in your Mac is important, and we'd like to help however we can to get Touch ID showing.

Let's start with some basics:

  1. You mentioned it went missing as it was there in the past, but when did this occur?
  2. We see you have an iMac, but are we correct in saying that the keyboard that came included with it has Touch ID?
  3. Anything showing for Touch ID in the keyboard preferences?
  4. We see you have macOS 12.0 installed, but the latest version is macOS 12.1. You can verify this by clicking on the Apple logo at the top left corner of the screen, then on ‘About This Mac’. Here's how to first Back up your Mac with Time Machine, and afterwards, here's How to update the software on your Mac.

We hope to hear from your soon, and take care until then!
