m1 Mac mini mouse and keyboard lagging even frozen when using usb-a receiver and the another usb-a port on Mac mini is used

The mouse and keyboard I use is Logitech m546 and k780, both connect with same Logitech unifying receiver, it work correctly when only one usb-a used by the receiver, I can use it fluently with about 1m distance between mouse and Mac mini.

but when I connect a external hard disk or video capture card to the another usb-a port on the Mac mini ,the mouse become severe lagging or even frozen most of the time when the mouse is 1m away from the Mac mini, used fluently when mouse is close to Mac mini.

Keyboard also become lagging but better then mouse, but some of the shortcut key malfunction even after the another usb-a is disconnected, I have turn off and on the keyboard to put it back.

all my device is connected directly to the usb-a port, and the thunderbolt port is no used and haven't test for this problem.

Connect either the receiver or the external disk to the M1’s Thunderbolt port using a C-A adapter like this one https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MJ1M2AM/A/usb-c-to-usb-adapter

Should improve/fix.

The other option is to get a high quality, well shielded USB cable to connect to the external drive.

Many dongle based keyboard and mouse systems that are not Bluetooth use a very simple transmission protocol between the dongles and devices which can be sensitive to interference especially since newer devices have been using the 2.4 GHz unlicensed bands as opposed to older devices that used the 900 MHz unlicensed bands.

my adapter is on the way, but I am considering could i solve it without adapter?

I guess the reason of this problem is both usb-c port use same power supply, hence when I connect a device with high power drived may cause the receiver can't get enough power to work correctly, the evidence is when I plugin a usb-a pen drive to the Mac mini the problem didn't appear.

if my guess is correct I think Apple should notice it on the item details.😟
