Bug: iPhone 13 delayed lock screen wake up if "tap to wake" turned off

Anybody at Apple looking into this issue? - iPhone 13 Pro Max (as well as Mini) shows a noticeable delay when waking up the phone by pressing the power button with "tap to wake" being turned off.

Hasn't been an issue in iPhone 11 Pro Max.

I had hopes that this would have been fixed with iOS 15.2, but apparently it wasn't.
