Macbook Pro Touch ID won't work if being charged via USB ports

My Macbook's Touch ID doesn't work if being charged by the right hand side USB port, and the top left hand side USB port, it's okay though if being charged by the second port on the left. Sometimes it works, but still need to keep the finger on the sensor for 1 to 2 seconds, instead of instantaneous.
