Ho do you use Tap Tempo in GarageBand for Mac 10.4.5? The help file mentions it, but doesn't specify how to use it. Is there a keyboard shortcut needed to get to it, and if so what is it?

The "Tap Tempo" button appears, when you create a new project.
Usually I prefer to use the tempo track, so I can have a variable tempo throughout the project.

You can't, that is an iPhone/iPad only thing.
Puzzling since it states in the guide for the Mac version that you can use the keyboard to set tempo by tapping the tempo on the keyboard. It was also available in previous versions on the Mac
