I have a Canon Lide 210 Scanner that will not work with my OS 12.0.1 Monterey. What can I do?

I'm on Monterey 12.1, had the same problem, then installed the "ICA Driver Ver.4.1.4a (Mac)" driver from Canon Support website. After that, scanner was instantly recognised in "Printers & Scanners". Don't waste money on VueScan.

Dear Mjunderdog,
Sure. Maybe it's the regional thing, also might be Google-result dependent. I'm from UK by the way.
In case it gets removed, broken or anything, here's how I get there:
Thank you, Royston. The version you mentioned in your earlier email, Ver.4.1.4a, was released Sep 2019, and, showed up as Catalina compatible. But, I did search again, and, found this... Ver.18.2.0(Mac), released in Sep 2021. I installed this driver and my Monterey MBP now works with the scanner.
Thanks, again.
Best,
MJ
I think the intention of the VueScan Professional recommendations is if the vendor either no longer supports the scanner, or the vendor drivers do not work. In some cases, VueScan Professional may require working vendor scanner drivers, which dilutes the need for VueScan unless it provides features, not in the vendors' or Apple's Image Capture scanning capabilities.
FYI, I have a Canon LiDE 400 that works well with Image Capture on Monterey.

I went to canon's website, and searched both the support and the whole website, and, couldn't find any result with ICA Driver Ver.4.1.4a (Mac). Can u post the actual link? Thx.
