august lock homekit no response
I purchased an august Wi-Fi smart lock several months ago, one of the main reasons was for the HomeKit compatibility as I initially found it on apples website. And let me tell you, it has been nothing but a headache. 5 calls to august support, several emails back and fourth, and a replacement august lock later, I still get the infamous “no response” in home kit.
I have reset the lock several times, removed and added back to home kit, moved my HomePod mini next to the lock and still get nothing. The response I’m getting from august at this point is “it’s an issue on apples end, we can’t do anything”. So I’m here to ask, is anyone else having the same issue? Is apple aware of the issue? If so, what is being done about it?
