iMessage

Crazy thing I am experiencing, on my iMessage, when ever I text my wife, I am able to send a message, but it disappears from the iMessage on both desktop and iPhone. How do I fix that so it isn't ghosted out?

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 11.6

Prior to doing the recommend task in previous email. I found an old text that I sent to my wife back in July that everything she texted me, I saw the same picture over and over again. When I deleted that text off my phone and Mac, he messages now stay on Mac and iPhone. Not sure why this was happening, but there must have been a bug attached to that text or something. But I am good now. Thanks for your help!

Since this appears to only be happening on your Mac now, create a new administrator account to see if the issue persists in that account as well. This step will help with determining if the behavior is specific to one account. If needed, here's how to create another account: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac.

Are the messages being received?
Does this happen when sending messages to anyone else?
To isolate the behavior, connect your iPhone to a different network to see if the same thing happens.

Hello.

Yes, messages come in and I can see it. But once I click it it disappears as quick as its clicked on
Only one person, and that is my wife
It does not matter which network, same all the way around.

I have done everything Apple has described and others to get this to stay on my messages list, but always disappears on desktop.

It now stays on my iPhone of continuously doing the steps provided from Apple over and over again.

Here's another thing. I get the message/text from wife to my iPhone. I click to read it, it now stays.

Next day I go to log into my desktop for work, and I see the text from my wife on iMessage and I click on it, and it disappears.
