I’m locked out of my new MacBook Air
I’m locked out of my MacBook. I just got it and made a password and I can’t get it to log in. I tried about 20 different ways to sign in. Nothing worked.

Hi mironda224,
You can unlock your Mac by resetting your user account password in macOS Recovery: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT212190

If you have a "boot" disk, you can insert the CD, DVD, or USB bootup disk and hold the letter "C" during startup. It should then startup from that disk where then you can reset the admin password to unlock. This worked for me a couple times. Hopefully it works for you.
If there’s nothing on it… Reinstall. Erase and reinstall macOS - Apple Support
