I updated my iphone 13 pro to ios 15.2 and is experiencing a limited battery drain plus device heating is excessive suddenly. I don’t think it’s a good sign for a new device which is hardly 15 days old. Apple please look into it

I have the same problem after updating my iPhone 6s to IOS 15.2 from 14.x two days ago. The percentage indicator declines quickly even when not using the phone. Cycling the power can change power percentage from 30% to 85%. Then the percentage goes down quickly again. The battery percentage can go down from 90% to less than 10% in 3 hours without using the phone. My battery lasted nearly all day before the upgrade.

Same. I reached out to Apple Support, they don't seem to know what to do about it. Super frustrating, as this issue basically makes your phone unusable.

Atrocious battery drain for me on iPhone 12 considering my iPhone is only a year old, been having battery drain ever since I bought the iPhone and has been getting worse with every update causing overheating issues and glitching and lagging as well as wifi connection dropping with terrible user experience ffs 🤦‍♂️

I have an iPhone XS and when I updated my battery health dropped to 87% and now, a week later, is at 78% is this a glitch or is my phone dead because I’m not noticing any differences in battery life.
