Has anyone else had issues trying to charge their watch after the update? My watch will charge for 5 minutes and will stop charging while still being in the charger.

It looks like watchOS 8.4 was just released, and the bug fix summary shows: " watchOS 8.4 includes bug fixes and important security updates, including: Some chargers may not work as expected."
So while we never saw anything official about this published by Apple until now, we know they really did introduce a problem in watchOS 8.3.

I tried cables and the USB puck charger (the kind without cables). Same result.
I take that back. My issue still isn't resolved. The only way to charge my watch is with the apple watch charging cable, currently. :(
I'm looking for a way to input Beta OS.
I have tried all the techniques you have mentioned but is not working. It is problem and have to solve as early as possible
If it's not software, then why did we all start having this issue immediately after the upgrade to watchOS 8.3?
The problem with official and unofficial chargers is the same.

I'm not having any issues anymore, and my 3rd party chargers are not MFA certified.
I have this issue, and unpairing it and resetting it did NOT help. I've changed charging bricks, cords, etc and it hasn't helped the problem at all. It has to be a software issue. Hopefully Apple is reading this and issues a 8.3.1 update very soon.
Yes I have encountered same problem. When I put on charger it charges my watch for only 3 min and then it won’t charge. It is observed after updating to watchOS 8.3. kindly solve this problem as early as possible
@apple there needs to be a resolution for the battery issue with Apple Watch. Since update it will stop charging and we need an update to fix this bug!
