warranty on iPhone purchased in the US - residence in EU

All warranties tend to be country specific since every country has different laws regarding what companies are required to provide in terms of warranty. In the USA no company is actually required to provide a written warranty, although all are required to provide some minimal coverage (they do not have to put it in writing though). And the terms of any written warranty are by and large whatever the company writing them wants them to be.

the eu 2 year warranty is pretty hollow because the 2en year the customer have the burden of proof of the death of the device was because of a production issue rather than user handling, few products cost more than bearing the burden of proof legally.

You have a one year warranty that is valid only in the US..

The warranty is NOT international. The warranty is only valid in the country where the device was originally sold.

The US iphones are the only ones with mm wave antennas.

Service centers in other countries cannot replace your device.

If your device needs service, you will need to return to the US.
