I can't mirror my MacBook Air to the Smartboard

I have a new MacBook Air that I have to connect to a Smartboard 600 series and I am having issues mirroring my computer to the Smartboard. Contacted Smarttech and they told me to make sure that Notebook as well as ink settings are checked on the Security and Privacy settings. I don't even see those listed as options and Notebook software is installed. Any help? I am using the new McOS Monterey

Thanks for any support,

Louis

Hi elclon123,

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand you're having trouble connecting your SMART Board 600 to your MacBook Air, and we'd like to assist. It sounds like they are referring to what's explained in this article:

Managing macOS security and privacy settings for SMART Notebook 20 - SMART Technologies

You'll also want to make sure you're using the cable that Smart support recommends. Beyond that, you may want to get back in touch with Smart support as they would be the experts regarding their product.

Take care.
