Lost Apple Watch mirroring phone location

Hello over 2 months ago I lost my watch. I know it’s dead and was just hoping it showed up. But when I opened the “find my” to find my AirPods I saw my watch with the location as my house 4 hours ago. Over the past week I have been checking the app and it seems where ever my phone goes so does the watch. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello, kane_yeomans.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

We'd be glad to help out. To start, what device are you using to locate your watch? Are you able to view the device? Does it show offline?

If you haven't done so already, restart that device. Sometimes a restart can help resolve issues. If possible also try using a compatible web browser to see if the same thing occurs. If your device has been offline for over 24 hours, the last known position would no longer be displayed: Use the Find My app to locate a missing device or item

"Don't see your device?

You might not have Find My turned on. If your device is powered off, the battery has run out, or more than 24 hours has passed since its last location was sent to Apple, you can't see your device's location. Learn how you can still protect your information."

Best regards.
