How do I export a whole Photos album as an album, not individual pictures, to my desktop, keeping all metadata?

importing photo albums from iphone to Mac I have organised my photos on the iphone into several albums. But when I want to import them into Photos on my Imac, the albums disappear. I can import all the photos, but I have to re-organise them into albums again. So for example I have an album "holiday spain" with 50 photos on my iphone. I want to import them on my Imac into the app Photos as an album, so that on the imac library there is a new album "holiday spain" with the right photos in it. I can't find how to do this. Not so much of a problem if it concerns 3 albums with some photos, but when you have 30 albums with 50 photos each it becomes a pain. Any solutions or suggestions pls? thank you.

Download originals of only a specific album in photos app on Mac Hi there, I have hundreds of albums of photos that were taken on an iphone. These all show fine on my Mac. My problem is, I want to be able to drag and drop from the photos application into another app. This only works if the originals are downloaded to the machine. How can I just download originals on a specific album from within the photos app? And when I'm done pulling photos into the other app (which sucks a copy in), I want to revert the album back to optimised storage. Thanks all!

An album is just a group of photos in a virtual folder. So create a folder on the Desktop with the same name as the album and export the photos to that folder. That will be the same as the album in the library.
