Battery percentage not showing while charging Magic Trackpad 2 and Magic Keyboard 2 on Monterey

I have the Intel Mac Mini and Monterey 12.1 installed. I noticed that on Monterey that the Magic Trackpad 2 and Magic Keyboard 2 are not showing the battery percentages while they are being charged. Just noticed this when I went to charge my Trackpad for the first time since installing Monterey recently. Does anyone else have this issue on their Mac, especially the intel Mac, as I have the intel Mac Mini. As you can see below they are just greyed out when charging but don't show the battery percentages while charging.

Yes, I have the same issue with macOS Monterey 12.1 and my Magic Trackpad 2. I don't know whether the issue started with macOS Monterey 12.0.1 or not since I didn't have to recharge the trackpad since installing Monterey.

You could communicate this to Apple Feedback to see if they could re-introduce this feature: https://www.apple.com/feedback/. I know I found it quite convenient as it would tell me whether my accessories were fully charged.

Thanks a lot for the response, I definitely think its Monterey, never got this on Big Sur. Soon as you start charging the device is just greyed out and doesn't show battery percentages. It's a very subtle thing so lots of people don't even realize it until they are charging their Magic Keyboard or Trackpad and paying attention to the battery level. Could also be an issue only on Intel Macs as opposed to the M1 Macs, kind of like with the Photos Screensavers not working until it was finally fixed in the most recent Monterey update. I'm indeed gonna send over a feedback to apple from the link you gave. Thanks.
