Transparency in Keynote

I'm trying to upload an image with a transparent background but once it gets into Keynote it has a white background. I made the image in Procreate, removed the background and exported as a png to my camera roll. When I upload it into Keynote, the background is back. I've tried instant alpha and that didn't work. I tried side by side dragging from Procreate and that doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

Keynote supported files Hi, I am very not up to date with technology so please make your answer very beginner friendly (dumb it down for a dummy). I am trying to upload a download onto Keynote and it's not supporting most files it looks like. Everything is pretty much greyed out. Perhaps I need to update the app? For context, I am trying to upload a transparent background file from Canva. It is a PNG and Transparency is marked.

Make keynote background transparent once exported I am trying to make the background of my keynote slide transparent so that I can overlay it onto a video in iMovie, but when I export by: Selecting no fill for the background (turns it black) Selecting export> movie> custom resolution> apple ProRes 422 (which is what is suggested on another post here) It just gives me a small movie file that is a completely black screen. Also when I try importing it in to iMovie, it stays a black screen. When I try the same as above, but select apple ProRes 4444 instead, it gives me an option to select a box that says 'export with transparent backgrounds' which I select, but the same thing as before happens; completely black screen. Am I doing something wrong or am I missing a step? Thanks in advance :)
