Could be your iPad may be fully up-to-date ~ but now, that's 'an older' version?

There may be difference between wi-fi and the cell/wi-fi version's cut-off dates.

In September 2021 the iPadOS15.x was released.

In July 21 2021 an iPadOS 14.7 version was available. iPadOS13.7, released Sept 2020.

[If supported, a later v 15.1 or 15.2 should show now; while iPhone has/had those.]

There's nothing recent reported in "Apple - Support - System Status"*

to account for an iPad not seeing an update/upgrade. (iPad may not

be new enough to use some v. 15.x latest version iPadOS.)

Since my antique wi-fi only iPad Mini1.1 is out shoveling coal in iOS9.3.5

it's not likely to have much sway with any newer action; but it still works.

Not sure what to suggest, except there are details within links above.

Good luck & happy trails! ☺︎

Hi P. Phillips!

Had found the same link (old bookmark/recent update) also found

this, with similar content; and 'quite a few extra letters' in its URL! 😼

Seems a few years ago when Apple adopted the iPadOS name, some of

older iPad items either made the up/grade, revised; or dropped from list.

[iPad Air2 also saw revision/reintroduction &/or replacement-namesake.]

Trouble is a layperson, sifting through looking for nuggets, (as volunteer)

has their own sluggish slow or wayoutback-machine in real time, to use.

Thanks for the help.. ☺︎

Take care & safe travels!🍁❄️

I can't either. Have you tried doing it the 'old-fashioned' way (ie connecting it to your computer and updating via Finder (or however you do it in Windows - I don't use Windows much these days)? Connect your iPad to your computer, open Finder and select 'check for updates'.

I've not tried this myself, as numpty here can't find her sync cable.

Look at your Screenshot:

As it Reads: "The version of iOS running on your iPhone or iPad does not support wirelessly updating to this version of iOS. Please connect your device to iTunes on a computer to update to the latest software."

Use iTunes on a PC:

Have a Windows PC handy? If so, use iTunes on it, being certain you have installed the most recent version of iTunes.
