Chrome Crashes When I Try to Sign in to YouTube or Click on Emails to Open Webpages

Since I've updated to Monterey, Chrome keeps crashing. It crashes every time I try to sign in to my YouTube account. It crashes if I click on an email to open a webpage.

I updated Monterey to 12.1 and uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome. Neither of these fixed it.

I'd be grateful for any help.

Google Chrome keeps crashing every time I open it, so quickly that I can't do any of the recommended troubleshooting like clearing the cache. Google Chrome Crashes at Account Sign-in Page on Mac Everytime Google Chrome Crashes at Account Sign-in Page on Mac Everytime It can load a few webpages before crashing but the sign-in page always triggers a crash. The application stops responding and I have to force quit. My google accounts all work on Safari, but not chrome. Here is what I've tried: Updated to latest OS and chrome Uninstalled and Reinstalled Chrome (also deleted all files under Google Chrome in Application Support) Turned off Hardware Accelerator Started in safe mode and tried to login Everytime Google Chrome is launched and I go to the login page (either to sign into sync or gmail) on the login page, it freezes and I am unable to type anything in. Very frustrating. I’m on a Mac Studio running Monterey OS.

Safari 16 / Monterey 12.6 issues I've just updated to Monterey 12.6, which has also installed Safari 16.0. I am seeing the following issues: 1) I can't click on links in emails. They just won't open, so I have to copy link, open a new browser tab, paste the URL. This was working fine previously. 2) If I try to drag a tab between one Safari window and another, one of 2 things happen. It either stays where it is, or completely disappears. Is there a fix for these issues? They aren't major, but both are very annoying!

Have you cleared all Caches in chrome? If not give that a try; along with clearing all browsing data.

Does it behave the same way when using Safari?
