Can I recover a lost "Notes" attachment?
A spreadshheet that I had in "Notes" disappeard when I clicked on one of the cells. How can I get it back?
iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 15
I was able to get the file back by recovering from an earlier backup.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with a missing attachment in Notes. We'd like to help.
Is iCloud enabled for your Notes? If so, deleted items will not be able to be recovered if they are not seen in the Recently Deleted folder. Do you see anything listed in that Folder?
If you're not using iCloud for your Notes, and you have a current backup that was created after this spreadsheet was created, you may be able to restore your iPhone from that backup to restore the note: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup
