iPod

When I put iPods in my ear, the music automatically starts. I tried all the solutions given in various forums, without any success. I did setting->Cellular->Music - off. I also did autoplay off in Music app. This is not only annoying but very disturbing when I receive phone calls and connect iPods to connect those calls. The music starts automatically and I can't hear anything else. Moreover, the music starts in the background so it is very hard for me to turn it off. Few times, my important phone calls got disconnected while I was trying to stop the music. Any help is appreciated.

Guess you mean AirPods and no iPod . . . . .

Ear Detection is active

So turn OFF the Automatic Ear Detection.
