Leaving a MacBook Pro plugged in even though the battery is 100%
Does it hurt the battery when leaving the MacBook Pro plugged in even though the battery is 100% or should I unpglug?

Leaving the computer plugged in does not damage the computer or the battery. You can leave the computer plugged in whenever convenient to do so. The computer manages its power system very well. There is no need for you to micro manage power.

Yes. Leaving it plugged in for a while may cause overheating. So, to avoid this, don't leave it plugged in, and always place it atop a laptop cooler.
You may see it delaying recharge to full 100% and staying at 95% when always plugged in. That is the onboard power management optimizing battery life.
