I went thru the process 3x

#1; waited 60 sec with side button down. Only black screen.

turned back on. Same flashing; Logo 10 sec, blank 3 sec etc

#2; waited 120 sec with side button down.

same result.

#3; waited 180 sec with side button down.

same result.

Apple logo continues to slowly flash.

10 sec on logo then 3 sec black screen.

Continues in endless loop.

Apple could do nothing. Sending a box to ship it back to see if they can solve the issue. 3 week old Apple 7. Yesterdays update mucked it up.

I shall miss it. Much better than my old 3 series.
