Macbook starts without any explanation.When I open the lid, it's already on... Does anyone understand what's happening?

MacBooks have a feature that starts the Mac up when the lid us lifted; it brings you to the login screen, not the desktop.


Is this what you're seeing? The login screen?


You can also set it to auto restart after a power failure. As soon as the power is restored, the Mac will startup. Maybe it's set to restart after a power failure and it is interpreting a shutdown as a power failure.
