Senior deleting contacts

My 80+ year old mother keep deleting her contacts. We added contacts to favorites but she still deletes the contact. Is there a way to prevent seniors from deleting contacts and changing the settings?

You may want to research the Screen Time Restrictions. This is not full proof, however, may help reduce the risk of having some critical settings changed or contacts edited. I am assuming that she has her own Apple ID and is not sharing that Apple ID with another device.

On your Mom’s iPhone, set up a Screen Time passcode by opening Settings ➔ Screen Time: Here you can setup the passcode that you will remember.

On your Mom’s iPhone, set up so that the contacts cannot be edited or deleted by opening Settings ➔ Screen Time ➔ Communication Limits ➔ Allow Contact Editing: Set this switch to OFF.

On your Mom’s iPhone set up so that some of the critical settings cannot be changed by opening Settings ➔ Screen Time ➔ Content & Privacy Restrictions ➔ Allow Changes: This section has several options which you can select so that those selected categories cannot be changed.

Unlike some Android devices, contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in SIM. They are synced to an email account that you had Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other

If Contacts on iCloud, try this --> Restore contacts, calendars, bookmarks, and more using ...

Else add the email account that stores your contacts.
