Removing screen time

Help!!

My husband and I bought a new iphone for my daughter that required a trade in. When they tried to reset her old iphone7 to factory stds, it triggered a requirement to remove "screen time". To do that we need apple id and passcode which was used to SET the screen time up in the first place - neither of which we can remember. My husband (who likely set that up) can't get his apple id to work, and neither can my daughter. What to do? Every time we try to reset password using either apple ID, the phone locks us out for increasing amounts of time (up to 24 hrs!). Verizon store won't give us credit for the phone if we can't get it reset. Augh!!

If you or a member of your Family Sharing group have a mobile device running iOS or iPad OS 13.4 or later, or a Mac running Catalina 10.15.4 or later, read this support article for instructions on what to do "If you forgot your Screen Time passcode". Click here --> https://support.apple.com/HT211021

If you still have issues resetting your Screen Time passcode, contact Apple Support.

OR

If you are running a system prior to iOS 13.4, read this Apple Support document about what to do "If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled". Click here then select your device type if necessary --> http://support.apple.com/HT204306 - Also has links for what to do for an iPad or an iPod touch.

This will erase the device. You can restore your device from a backup but the backup has to date from before you set the forgotten passcode or it too will be restored.

On the contingency you are asked for your Apple ID and password AND you have forgotten those:
