Airpod and Apple Watch Alerts

I just got a new watch and want to receive wake up alarms only on my phone. I set the alarm on my watch, vibrate only. However, my airpod case is also vibrating when my alarm goes off. I do often fall asleep with one airpod in. How can I stop my airpods from vibrating with my watch.

Airpods pause automatically when you come near the iPhone (listening to music with Apple Watch in the gym) I work out exclusively with my Apple Watch while exercising and listen to music through it. I keep my iPhone in a locker. That works so far, but whenever I get close to the iPhone, the music pauses and I have to restart the playback myself. This is especially annoying when you are exactly at a distance from the iPhone where it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. The music pauses every time. Is there a way to have the AirPods stay connected to the Apple Watch only and ignore the iPhone (other than turning off Bluetooth)? Surely that can't be a desired behavior? Thanks in advance. ~Maik

AirPods disconnect when I turn off my Apple Watch timer. I use my Apple Watch to time my rests between sets at the gym while listening to music or podcasts through my AirPods, and whenever the timer goes off on my watch and I stop it, one of several things happens: 1) The audio stops, and when I manually resume it, it plays through my phone speakers instead of my AirPods 2) The audio automatically resumes through my phone speakers instead of my AirPods 3) The audio has to be manually restarted but correctly resumes through the AirPods 4) The audio automatically resumes through my AirPods (how it should happen) There is no rhyme or reason to which of these four things will happen every time the timer goes off, and it’s pretty annoying to have to sort it out every other minute at the gym. I would’ve thought that since I’m using all Apple products, this wouldn’t happen.

AirPods cases do not have vibration functionality in them, so it's physically impossible for them to vibrate. Are you sure it isn't just the vibration of your phone vibrating your AirPods' case?
