So I'm trying to restore this iPhone that I forgot the password to and everything that I try to do I still can't restore it because it gives me the error code 4010

I did some research, and according to one Apple Support Communities user, it's to do with a Firewall on your computer. Are you running Windows? If so, try disabling the Firewall and then attempting to restore your iPhone again.


Unfortunately, Apple does not list this error code in their knowledge base: iOS update and restore errors - Apple Support
