Screen sharing to MacBook Pro

When I try to share my iPhone screen to my MacBook Pro 2020 with Monterey the MacBook does not appear on my iPhone Screen Sharing window for selection. I have a 13mini with the latest OS. I am on the same network with both devices and my firewall is off. ?????

Sharing Mac screen with iPhone Has anyone been successful sharing their Mac screen with an iPhone user? All of my targets are legitimate iPhone users. In some cases, the "Invite to Share My Screen" is just grayed out. In others, it's not but clicking on it does nothing. The receiver doesn't get any sort of message or invitation. I have the "Screen Sharing" option turned on in Mac system preferences for all users. Not getting any kind of error messages--just "silence".

Yes. The devices need to be on the same Apple ID when you use Screen Mirroring.

i have same issue with my iphone 12 pro max . does it need to be same apple id ? cause my all devices has different apple id
