Sharing Mac screen with iPhone

Has anyone been successful sharing their Mac screen with an iPhone user? All of my targets are legitimate iPhone users. In some cases, the "Invite to Share My Screen" is just grayed out. In others, it's not but clicking on it does nothing. The receiver doesn't get any sort of message or invitation. I have the "Screen Sharing" option turned on in Mac system preferences for all users. Not getting any kind of error messages--just "silence".

Hello, Nestor Holynskyj. Thank you for posting to the Apple Support Communities. You’ve come to the right place for help with using the Screen Sharing features of your Mac. We’re happy to provide you with some guidance!

From what we gather, you are attempting to share your Mac’s screen with an iPhone user using the Messages app. As it turns out, this is only an option when the receiver is also using a Mac computer.

The following Apple Support articles explain how you can share the screen between two Mac computers. Please let us know if you have any questions about these features!
