Putting non-optimized photos onto Snapfish

I have 2020 MacBook Air with a 500 Gb hard drive. Every year we do a photobook an Calendar from Snapfish. This year we are running into issue with the pictures not looking the best. I believe it is because when I uploading to snapfish, I'm uploading the optimized for storage version that is save from on my mac, rather than the full file from my iCloud. Is there is way to transfer the full file to Snapfish? I have a NAS Drive that I tried to make my system folder for iPhoto to give me a bigger storage drive that will allow for the full files to be downloaded but iCloud photos doesn't seem to work with network drives.

If anyone has an idea as to how to fix this issue I would be so grateful.

In addition to what YerMan said (Get your library onto a compatible location - see below)

You need to get your images out of the library via file>export - not by drag and drop. Drag and drop only ever transfers the preview, so you don't know what quality you will get.

***

requirements for external storage of a photos library:

It must be formatted APFS or MacOS extended (journaled) (preferred for spinning drives). If you have not formatted it after purchase it will most likely be ExFat - which is not compatible.

It Must not be (or have been) used for time machine. (A time machine drive can be used if re-formatted)

It must have the 'ignore ownership" checkbox ticked.

It must be directly connected (No ethernet or wifi)

iCloud is a sharing service, not a back up. Further, if your Library is on a NAS then there is no guarantee that the syncing between your Library and iCloud is being done properly. Simply: your library needs to be on a directly connected disk (read: USB, Thunderbolt) and that disk needs to be formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled) or APFS. End of.
