iphone xs max lagging issues

why is my iPhone xs max have massive screen lag when I use my device scrolling through the phone and the IOS is really slow I have it IOS 14 i have done a reset on the device and it has not helped i have heard of this being a issue with other iPhone xs versions


Updating the device to IOS 15 would this help resolve the issue


NOTE: I am trying to update to new IOS but it is hard as the device is slow

This poor performance could be due to either low battery health or low storage space.


To check your iPhone's battery health, open Settings, then tap Battery > Battery Health. If it is below 80%, consider getting the battery replaced.


To check your iPhone's storage, open Settings, then tap General > iPhone Storage. If you need to, free up some space and see if that helps.

Apple recommends that you keep your iPhone updated in order to have the best experience. They say that updating to the latest version 'provides the latest features, security updates and bug fixes' (Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support).


So, yes, updating would be your best option. It may take a while to download and install iOS 15 (depending on how large the update is) so make sure your iPhone has a strong, stable internet connection.
